Saakshi Khubani progresses to PR Executive role at SOCIATE
Saakshi Khubani, SOCIATE’s former Junior PR Executive, progresses to a new and exciting role as PR Executive and Trend Spotter
Joining #teamSOCIATE as a PR intern in 2020, Saakshi’s passion for the industry and innate PR talent saw her hired as the agency’s Junior PR Executive. Quick to learn and put her newfound knowledge in action, Saakshi has progressed to her new role as PR Executive at SOCIATE in 2021.
Saakshi’s current account roster features diverse brands of all sizes including Sofitel Dubai Downtown, Only Ethikal, Lalage Beaumont, Snap Fitness, Stradivarius, Decosouq, and Al-Futtaim ACE.
As a PR Executive, Saakshi’s workday sees her develop monthly PR plans and editorial roadmaps for SOCIATE’s clients. When she isn’t enriching her media and blogger relations or coordinating events, editorial requests, and photoshoots, she’s penning press releases, articles, and briefing documents.
During her time at SOCIATE, Saakshi has developed an award-winning sustainability campaign for I Quit Plastic. Committed to delivering show-stopping results to SOCIATE’s clients, she also follows a rigorous weekly strategy in order to earn maximum client coverage.
In addition to her current clients, Saakshi has previously worked on Sprudel, Quite Quaint, Nara Pan Asian, Distillery, The Loft, ScriptDoor, It’s Your Life, Holly Holistic, Beautific, Blush and Bloom, 6Skins, Mischief Fashions, Kashida, Peekado, The Pad by Yasmine Karachiwala, and Orchid Fertility.
Saakshi comments, “I always saw myself as an events person until I started working in PR. The beauty of PR lies in its versatility, there’s always something new to learn and there are lots of interesting people to meet. As a Trend Spotter, I love exploring and experimenting with new trends in the industry and incorporating the best ones into our campaigns”.
She continues, “From intern to executive, my journey at SOCIATE has been very inspiring. I’ve learned some incredibly valuable lessons that have shaped me both personally and professionally. For instance, I’ve learned that timing is key in PR. If you manage your time well, you can get a lot done, which will help balance your professional and personal life. And of course, always have a positive PR girl smile, even in the face of a crisis”.
