Isn’t it funny how no one seems to care about small businesses…
Oh, you’re not laughing?
The facts aren’t very funny either:
- Stratospheric set up costs
- Rents paid in advance
- Banks not interested in opening bank accounts for small businesses (heaven forbid you want to borrow some money or get a credit card).
Micropolis was founded in 2016 to become a serious voice for small business owners, to encourage them to come together, to support one another and to buy from each other.
We are a movement – not a paid membership.
As a Micropolian, you will be a fellow supporter of small businesses. The easiest way to become one, is to eat and have coffee in an independent cafe as opposed to a hotel, shop at an independent shop or retailer as opposed to the shops in the malls, use boutique service providers for your all your business needs, visit farmers markets as opposed to the supermarkets. And most importantly, come to our events and support the small businesses you meet. That’s how simple it is to make a difference!
If this resonates with you and you want to be part of our movement, then please join us and let’s have the last laugh! Micropolis is our networking partner. Stay tuned to our social media for updates on upcoming events!
