Weave an entertaining or educational angle into your newsletters so your customers are more inclined to not only click on your email, but actually read it.
Cracking visuals: Bright visuals and punchy font will impress your reader before they’ve even laid eyes on the text. Humans are visual creatures – the quickest way to grab their attention is by feeding them eye candy.
Brevity: Your reader is busy and their attention is fleeting so respect their time by keeping it short, simple and straight to the point. If your newsletters don’t demand too much of your reader’s time and simultaneously manage to be relevant and interesting, you’re more likely to turn them into a loyal reader.
